Fun with Knives..

Just trying to be creative with some household items, while gaining practice with the camera. I was trying to play with the focus to see if I could show the striations of the knife. My lighting wasn't the best so I had moved a candle close to get some decent lighting, and then noticed that it actually made some nice affects with the reflection off of the wooden table. Then before my battery died, I blew out the candle and really liked the smoke that came off the candle. So I made many attempts with relighting and blowing out the candle and played a lot with the shutter speed and aperture and finally came out with some photos that I like.
