to give to the team with the best regular season record. This year,
the Crew finished with the best record. DC United broke normal
tradition, I believe, by passing on the trophy at the start of the
game, to the supporters' groups, and at the end of the game, the
supporters handed the trophy to the team. The players and coaches
made their way to the Nordecke to receive the trophy and celebrate
with the fans
