World of Beer opened in the Brewery District in Columbus this past Monday for Facebook friends and Tuesday to the public. Our Columbus Beer Club stopped by there on Wednesday and had a great time. The place was pretty packed as expected but the service was awesome and the staff was friendly. And the beer was awesome as well! With 50 beers on tap we had had quite the selection. Though there are other places that offer at least 50 beers on tap (Bodega and Studio 62 to name a couple), I don't think any will promise 500 bottled beers. We didn't make too much of a dent in the beer selection, so we will have to go back! We were the first to try a couple of the unique bottles though and signed the bottles that will be on display somewhere in the building. And a photographer from drinkupcolumbus.com was taking photos of the building and took some shots of our Beer Club so that's pretty cool as well.

Next month, we will head back to Barley's for the tapping of the Christmas Ale!
