Getting back on track...

Ran a slow 2 miles today! This was my first run since injuring my back on Feb 16th. It felt great to get back into it. I gained confidence by playing 3.5 hours of volleyball on Sunday and not having any bad reactions concerning my back! I'm still naïve enough to believe I can actually finish the ironman in Sept. That is probably wishful thinking.. But if I take 2 hours to swim.. maybe 8 hours to bike.. That'll leave 7 hours to run/walk.. Using a calculator that I found, that would mean I'd have to run/walk at a 16:02 pace. That _sounds_ doable.. Or am I dreaming?? The calculator is found here: http://www.runnersworld.com/tools/pace-calculator Though if I average 16 mph (which SHOULD be doable on a flat course in Cedar Point), then I should finish the bike in 7 hours.. (calculator found here: http://www.machinehead-software.co.uk/bike/speed_distance_time_calc.html). That would give me a needed pace of 18:19 or better. That should definitely be doable! This will happen! On a side note, I'm splitting my free time with training, taking glass classes, trying to get better at my photography and possibly starting to whittle some more.. Also, attempting to develop a card game for Windows 8. Oh.. and seeing my amazing artistic girlfriend! :) btw, I just re-did her website.. take a look at http://www.klmorrisstudios.com. Just released last week!
